Chris Dingli

Chris Dingli trained at Webber Douglas Academy of Dramatic Arts in London, and has spent the last decade working in the UK and Malta. During the course of his career he has performed in a multitude of stage shows and acted in numerous film and television shows. He has written and produced a number of shows, such as the Comedy Knights, and his one-man show Bad Dad, performed in Britain, Canada and Malta. In the UK, Chris wrote and directed the contemporary circus show The Hogwallops with LIT Circus. In 2013 Chris helped adapt the Philip Pullman novel, I Was a Rat! for a touring stage production with Birmingham REP and Nottingham Playhouse. In September 2017, he won the Best Actor award at the Malta International Theatre Festival for his performance in the self-penned Battleship, a dramatic monologue about Jean de La Valette. His short film, The Seat, has played at several festivals in the US, and received a special mention at the London-Worldwide Comedy Short Film Festival, 2018.
