Gaby Davies, co-director of Zugraga Dance Organisation, is a freelance dance artist and yoga instructor, mainly trained in Malta, the UK, & India. She began her dance training in classical ballet, and later drew her focus towards contemporary dance which led her to complete a BA in Dance Studies at the University of Malta (2015). Her choreographic excellence led her to be scouted and offered a position to progress her studies overseas in the UK, where she graduated with a Masters in Choreography and Professional Practices at the University of Chichester (2016). She later went on to complete a Dance Apprenticeship at Play Practice, India (2018).

She has had the opportunity to train and/or work under the direction of Mavin Khoo, Victoria Fox, Anton Lachky, Jose Agudo, Francesca Tranter, Yael Flexer, Oded Ronen, Athanasia Kanellopoulou, Yoshua Cienfuegos, and others. She has choreographed works for ŻfinMalta, Moveo Dance Company, Malta International Arts Festival (2021), Abril en Danza (Spain), Sanskar Festival (India), UoM Dance Tour, Play Practice (India), Estancias Coreográficas (Spain), Notte Bianca, Zugraga Dance Organisation, Diciembre Dance Group, Junior Dance Company, DSA Conference and Malta Arts Festival Fringe (TabulaRasa). She has performed & presented work in venues around Malta, Holland, UK, Spain, Dubai, Italy, and India. In November 2021 she engaged in a research project with Martz Contemporary Dance Company (Spain). In January 2022 she also had the opportunity to be one of the performers representing Malta for the Dubai Expo2020.
