Patsy Chetcuti
Patsy Chetcuti is a dancer, choreographer and artistic project coordinator who also teaches Contemporary, Ballet and Jazz dance. Stamina, determination, perseverance, and hard work lead Patsy to a degree in BA (Hons) Dance Studies (University of Malta) and later on to a PAR Masters (University of Malta) focusing on ways to create interesting choreographies that not only engage the audience but also enable them to relate with and reflect on the content presented to them. Having acquired skills and techniques from established choreographers such as Kerry Nichols, Oded Ronen, Alleyne Dance, HumanHood, Mavin Khoo and Idan Porges just to name a few, enabled her to explore different horizons and thus create successful contemporary dance pieces as well as enrich her dance technique. Since 2015, Patsy has danced and choreographed for Zugraga Dance Organisation, an organization she co-founded. Works include ‘BlindSpot: a disguise of our insecurities’, ‘Ritmika’, ‘Snakes and Ladders’ and ‘Barcode’ (choreography and performer) and Physics is fun and Cha Chakra (outreach projects). She has also created dance pieces and managed outreach projects for a Maltese renowned Company – Moveo Dance Company such as ‘Ara Gejja’, ‘Bully Me’ and ‘Rat Race’ (dance choreographies), Keep Dancing and Sync – Ability (outreach projects) to mention a few
