Zoe Camilleri

Zoe began dancing at an early age at the College of Jazz Dance, later joining the YADA Dance Company (Malta). In 2011, at the age of 18, she was awarded a scholarship through the Malta Arts Scholarship Scheme to pursue full-time training at the Rambert School of Ballet and Contemporary Dance in London, graduating with a BA (Hons) in 2014.

Zoe joined the ŻfinMalta Dance Ensemble as an apprentice in 2014 and then worked there full-time until 2017. Zoe has performed the works of choreographers Mark Baldwin, Robert Cohan, Darren Ellis, Joes Agudo, Ivan Perez, Mavin Khoo, Paolo Mangiola, Lucia Piquero and Francesca Abela Tranter.

She is currently working as a freelance dance artist focusing on her teaching practice and collaborating with other artists in performance and project-based work. She is excited to continue searching for her voice through choreography, while exploring and building her own movement language.
