Experience an evening that celebrates the guitar as a bridge between cultures, traditions, and musical expression. Bringing together internationally acclaimed artists from Argentina, France, Brazil, and Malta, the programme journeys through tango, jazz, classical, and Latin American music in a series of distinctive performances.


The evening opens with Rudi Flores, Sébastien Giniaux, and Franco Luciani, whose unique combination of two guitars and harmonica creates an intimate dialogue inspired by Argentine and European traditions. Following a short interval, Quatuor Éclisses presents a vibrant programme of Spanish and Argentine masterpieces by Boccherini and Ginastera. Brazilian guitar virtuoso Yamandu Costa then takes the stage with two captivating solo works that showcase his extraordinary artistry and South American influences. The concert concludes with Maltese guitarist Sandro Zerafa and French pianist Vincent Bourgeyx, who bring together timeless jazz standards from the Great American Songbook alongside original compositions, offering a fitting finale to an evening of exceptional musicianship and musical discovery.

A musical journey at the crossroads of Argentina and France, viewed through the contemporary lens of three artists who remain deeply rooted in their respective traditions.


A harmonica and two guitars come together to create a singular sonic dialogue, blending timbres, rhythms, and expressive languages to open a new musical landscape. This encounter evokes both the intimacy of chamber music and the expansiveness of traditions drawn from Latin America and Europe, offering a vivid reflection of their shared and contrasting musical histories.

Through this trio format, the programme traces a poetic line between heritage and reinvention, where improvisation, colour, and memory intertwine.

Through vivid dances and evocative colours, the audience is taken on a journey from Spanish flair to the vast and energetic landscapes of Argentina.

La Reunion, the third movement of the suite Ameríndia, draws its inspiration from South American music and can be described as a true Latin American hybrid, blending different musical colors and influences. 

La Invernada, final movement of the suite Ilhas Concertantes (“Concertante Islands”), is a typical milonga from the Uruguayan region; with its strong and poignant character, it seeks to immerse the audience in an epic and forceful atmosphere.
