Are you a photographer? Interested in traditions?

With the aim of gathering photographs of all participants at Festgħana in a way that makes them accessible for promoting global awareness of Maltese għana, Festgħana has invited Polish photographer Wojciech Pędzich to lead a workshop on his working methods. These workshops are of particular interest to photography enthusiasts, especially those who appreciate intangible cultural heritage.

During the workshops, examples will be given of how photographs of Festgħana participants can be used on Wikipedia, the world’s largest encyclopedia. Participants will also have the opportunity to take photographs during the Friday evening activities at Argotti, which will then be developed and discussed in the second part of the workshop, taking place on Saturday morning.

These workshops will be conducted in English.

Deadline to Register: 14th May
