MIAF is launching a series of videos to foster the collaboration between local artists. In ROOF a dancer and a musician meet on the rooftop of an old house in Senglea. In five short pieces, they play, interact, explore, and go into an improvised dialogue, challenging each other’s artistic boundaries.

Rochelle Gatt Biography
Just like everybody else Rochelle’s movement started to rock in the mother’s womb, but at the age of two she took her first ballet class. This classical background transformed to athletics, swimming, gymnastics, contemporary dance & capoeira. Rochelle studied for a diagnostic radiographer and later followed a dance bachelor studies at UOM respectively. She has also accomplished masters for Physical theatre at the Accademia Teatro Dimitri, Switzerland. The artistic desires of Rochelle are to research innovative and meaningful movement language through acrobatics and other collaborative disciplines.
Luc Houtkamp Biography
Luc Houtkamp is a composer/musician with an experience of almost 50 years. He became one of the key members of the Dutch improvised music scene, and played an important role in the development of electronic music. In 2014 he moved to Malta, where he quickly build up a reputation as a composer and performer.
