Having had the privilege of performing in a few dance festivals overseas over the last 20 or so years I have always hoped that Malta will one day be proud to have its own. I very much trust Francesca’s vision, experience and commitment towards this endeavour and hope that the riveting works being presented will attract regular dance followers as well as new audiences towards the festival. I particularly hope that audiences will be drawn towards our works and the gaga People session taking place in Freedom Square and Upper Barrakka Gardens.
