Welcome to the first edition of Dance Festival Malta, a celebration of dance through an intensive 4 -day festival.  Dance as an artform has always been featured in most of our festivals, however this year I am very proud that Festivals Malta is launching a new festival in its portfolio dedicated entirely to dance.

 

Dance Festival Malta has been created to celebrate movement and to provide dance students and professionals with a platform that nurtures their career through a variety of workshops, masterclasses, and networking opportunities with local and international artists. 

 

This marks the beginning of a very exciting journey for us, and I strongly believe that this long awaited multi-disciplinary festival will put Malta on the map amongst leading dance festival destinations in Europe, an initiative that is very high on our agenda.
