Bettina Zammit

Asteria

Bettina Zammit is a soprano under the tuition of Denise Mulholland. At present, she is a member of The Opera Nova Project, guided by soprano Gillian Zammit and Denise Mulholland, and The Abos Project and Consort, guided by soprano Gillian Zammit.


Bettina has most recently sung the role of ‘Papagena’ in The Magic Flute (2025), and has performed as a soloist in various concerts by the Opera Nova Project, The Abos Project and Consort, the Barocco Foundation and more. In 2023, Bettina was accepted into the Veneto Opera Summer School by Melofonetica, where she was invited to perform as a soloist in the Arte Lirica Festival (2023) in Bassano del Grappa. She has also performed in choirs and choruses for numerous productions and festivals, including The Valletta Baroque Festival (2025, 2021, 2018), Manon Lescaut (2024), and Dido and Aeneas (2021). Bettina’s musical theatre credits include the role of ‘Rapunzel’ in Into the Woods (2025), ‘Luisa von Trapp’ in The Sound of Music (2016), and ‘Fillide’ in Caravaggio the Musical (2022).
