Choreographer

Simon Riccardi-Zani was born in Nice (France) in 1998. He studied at the Paris Opera Ballet School and contemporary art the Paris National Conservatoire before joining ŻfinMalta in 2019. Simon's interest in choreography led him to create a young audience piece in 2021. In 2022, he presented "Les Unes" as part of ŻfinMade evenings for emerging choreographers. In 2024, Simon represented France within the Franco-German Pavilion, with a second dance film "Les Uns" for the Malta Biennale 2024, and also performed at the United Nations Ocean Conference in 2025. Last season, Simon choreographed a new work for the full ŻfinMalta under the title "Les Autres" as part of the Żfindays programme alongside a screened version of the choreography.
