CLASS DESCRIPTION:
The workshop Sandra Salietti offers blends contemporary movement with a focus on intensifying inner dynamics and body articulation. Beginning with a warm-up, participants delve into Giovanni Insaudo's choreographic language, exploring its nuances and techniques. Through practical exercises, dancers gain insight into Insaudo's approach to coordination and body research. The aim is not only to introduce his style but also to imbue participants with a deeper understanding of movement principles and expression. By the end, dancers experience a taste of Insaudo's unique choreographic sensibilities, fostering artistic growth and exploration within their own practice.
Sandra Salietti
Sandra Salietti is an acclaimed dancer honored with awards such as Outstanding Performer at the Copenhagen International Choreographic Competition (2019) and MASDANZA International Choreographic Competition (2023). Noteworthy nominations include Dancer of the Year by TANZ MAGAZINE (2019) and Swiss Free Scene (2018). Since 2023, she has graced international stages, co-founding "IVespri" and assisting Giovanni Insaudo. Sandra Salietti’s diverse career spans works with eminent choreographers like Johan Inger, Ohad Naharin, William Forsythe, Alexander Ekman, Marco Goeke, Marcos Morao, Jo Strömgren and Edward Clug in companies such as Cannes Jeune Ballet, National Ballet of Marseille, Gartnerplatz Theater, Tanz Luzerner Theater and Aterballetto.
