CLASS DESCRIPTION

Gabriele’s workshop will be based on contemporary dance technique that derives from his background as a performer and many years of training in different contemporary styles.  The workshop includes strong floor work and center practice combination supporting the choreographic material learnt later in class. The workshop will finish off with learning Moveo’s repertoire.

Gabriele Farinacci

Born in Rome, Italy, in 1993. Between 2003 and 2014, Gabriele gained professional experience in tap dance, achieving seven gold medals at the World Championships, Germany. In 2012, in New York, he developed an interest in contemporary dance and ballet and got his BA from the National Dance Academy, Italy. In 2017, Gabriele joined Transitions Dance Company, United Kingdom and obtained his post-Graduate degree in Dance Performance from Trinity Laban. Gabriele danced for Mauro Bigonzetti, Fabrizio Monteverde, Caterina Rago, Lali Ayguadé, Roser López Espinosa, and Jarko Partanen.

He joined Moveo in 2018 and is also a teacher at Johane Casabene Dance Conservetiore.
