Contemporary Dance Approaches by Jivko Jeliazkov (Bulgaria)

DFM Workshops 30 July
CLASS DESCRIPTION
Dancers will be introduced to isolation techniques and progressive movements of specific body parts for a specific time interval. The goal is to shorten the time for the transformation of the mental impulse into physical movement. Participants in the workshop will build extensions between different points of the body while moving along a predetermined trajectory. The second part of the workshop will be concentrated on floor work and the possibilities of fast movement in the space, preserving the volumes of movement.
