Considered to be one the most important voices in Brazil the last few decades, Salmaso released acclaimed albums such as "Voadeira", "laiá", "Noites de Gala", "Samba Na Rua", and "Corpo de Baile" won numerous awards, and collaborated with Brazilian musical icons such as Chico Buarque, Guinga, Paulo César Pinheiro and Dori Caymmi. This trio explores the Brazilian songbook of various times and various styles where the rustic urban universe of the samba and waltz meet. The trio performs pieces by Villa-Lobos, Brazilian waltzes from the beginning of 20th century, old sambas, lyrical songs by Tom Jobim and Vinicius de Moraes.
