This masterclass will explore how we, in our role as bass players, can contribute to connection and cohesion in a band from the very first note. Exercises will focus on how to develop a full, supportive sound and a sense of rhythmic equanimity, so that we can operate as a powerful contrapuntal force - and make purposeful choices on the bandstand. This masterclass is open to all musicians.
