Festivals Malta, Transport Malta and Malta Public Transport are announcing that a temporary change to the bus terminus for the Carnival days in Valletta and Floriana will come into effect due to strong winds that are forecast in the coming days. Following discussions between the Authorities concerned, it was decided that the floats will be parked in the St. James’s Ditch in Valletta instead of on the Fosos, so that the floats are protected from all elements and the Carnival can be enjoyed in the coming days. This change was also made in agreement with the Carnival participants.

The location of the Zone B and C at the terminus will be temporarily changed. This change will come into effect from Friday 13 February 2026 until Tuesday 17 February 2026 at 6pm.
