Variations on Dusk

Variations on Dusk is an interdisciplinary performance, mediating the transitional moment of dusk through the body. This piece searches to remain within this fleeting space, suspended between a beginning and end, exploring new possibilities for being-with the inevitable passing of time.

A performance blending classical ballet with Spanish dance, inspired by the music of Charles Camilleri. Presented at Spazju Kreattiv, the piece showcases the dancers of Seed Dance Studios under the direction of Marisha Bonnici, celebrating the spirit of duende through movement infused with passion and artistry beyond technical skill.

Moveo invites you to pause on the iconic steps of Valletta’s entrance into a world where memories play tricks on us. This site-specific performance explores how our minds sometimes reshape the past, creating illusions that protect or surprise us. The visuals and movement transform the steps into a living canvas, inviting you to reflect, smile, and wonder at the playful ways memory can bend. Light, poetic, and visually captivating, this performance promises to turn a fleeting moment into something unforgettable.

BORDER, a performance by ŻfinMalta the National Dance Company, reflects on the lines we draw between us, that divide us and sustain us. Like rope binding and fraying, bodies combine and fracture, revealing an abyss of repetitive memories and ritual.
