CLASS DESCRIPTION:
This workshop is suitable for artists with experience or not. It’s based upon the reflection of the mind of the dancer and his climate & influences to enter in deep control, with injury finding therapy from tasks, new methods & techniques to develop intense unique ways of dancing. The specific nature of the creative process and the physical, energetic movements that have become known for Seifeddine Manai & Brotha from Another Motha Style, arouse the interest of a wide audience of professionals and lay people. To respond to the request for retransmission of these forms of expression. Engage in the exploration and comparison of forms of expression through intensive Physical improvisation and contact work as a personal "Unique Style Technique'' urban approach via tillage & Falls with a choreographic imagination. The workshop focuses on the knowledge about the techniques and the flavours of the movement of the physical dance theatre world.
Seifeddine Manai
Seifeddine Manai a multi-talented artist, excelling as a choreographer, performer, director, and dramatist. From a young age, he developed a passion for the world of dance. After receiving stage training with the Sybel Ballet Théâtre Company. More recently, he created a solo performance titled "Maktoub." In addition to his career as a dancer, Seifeddine Manai founded the company "Brotha from Another Motha," which has participated in various projects across Europe and the world. The company has collaborated with different European cultural institutions, including a residency at the French Academy in Rome, Villa Medici, in 2011, as well as being invited to the Lyon Dance Biennale and collaborating with Aterbaletto, the Italian ballet. They also received support from the French
Institute in Paris for a tour across the African continent and engaged in Mediterranean exchange Programs. Between 2011 and 2023, Seifeddine Manai continued various artistic collaborations and explorations in Italy, Spain, France.
