The Malta International Arts Festival invites the audience to descend inside a 16th century underground water cistern below the streets of Valletta for a truly unique experience. Greek artist Myrgon works at the threshold between sculpture, movement and ritual, using raw clay as an extension of his living body. Drawing on ancestral practices, the result is an intimate, time‑based tableau that blurs the boundaries between body and land, performer and landscape. A unique ritual performance, enhanced by the evocative setting of the underground site.
