16 Finalist Songs Selected for Mużika Mużika 2027

The seventh edition of Mużika Mużika will take place between 11 and 13 March 2027.

On 26 October 2026, Festivals Malta announced the finalist songs for the seventh edition of Mużika Mużika, which will take place in March next year. A total of 16 songs have been selected to compete in the festival’s final, without having to compete in an additional eliminatory phase.
In the earlier stages of the selection process, a total of 171 submissions were evaluated by an expert jury in the presence of a government-appointed notary. The entries were first shortlisted to 50 songs and subsequently narrowed down to 30 semi-finalist songs. These 30 songs were then performed live by their respective singers before a separate jury, again in the presence of a notary. Following these auditions, the 16 finalist songs were selected.
The Mużika Mużika Board, together with the management of Festivals Malta, emphasised that year after year, Mużika Mużika continues to strengthen not only its reputation as a leading festival, but also its importance as a platform for Maltese artists. The festival received several submissions of the highest quality, and the Mużika Mużika team would like to thank everyone who applied to be part of the festival. The Board, together with Festivals Malta, would also like to congratulate this year’s finalists and looks forward to seeing their songs performed on the Mużika Mużika stage next March.
The Mużika Mużika team will now move on to the next stage of preparations, focusing on the logistical and production aspects of the festival. These include musical arrangements, stage preparations and the development of the overall production, among other elements, in preparation for the festival, which will take place between 11 and 13 March 2027.
