Applications Close for the Seventh Edition of Mużika Mużika

Applications for the seventh edition of Mużika Mużika, which will take place from 11 to 13 March 2027, closed on Saturday, 26 September. Organised by Festivals Malta, the festival has established itself as one of the leading platforms for Maltese music in Malta. Mużika Mużika is followed and respected by its numerous audiences, as well as by the artists, composers and authors who participate in the festival every year.

Festivals Malta has once again received a substantial number of applications from various singers, authors and composers, featuring songs with different musical genres.

The Festivals Malta team, together with the Mużika Mużika Board, will now move on to the next phase, during which all submissions will be evaluated by an expert jury to select the best 30 songs submitted. Following this phase, the selected songs will be performed live in another session, accompanied by a backing track. A different jury from that of the first phase will then evaluate the songs and select the 16 finalist entries.

Festivals Malta and the Mużika Mużika Board would like to thank all the artists, composers and authors who submitted their applications and wish them every success.

The finalists of Mużika Mużika will be announced following the live auditions in October. They will be announced through a separate statement.
