Notte Bianca tirritorna s-Sibt 4 ta’ Ottubru bi programm li se jinvolvi 350 artist lokali u internazzjonali

Il-Ministru għall-Kultura, l-Artijiet u l-Gvern Lokali Owen Bonnici flimkien ma’ Festivals Malta nedew il-programm għall-edizzjoni li jmiss ta’ Notte Bianca, li se ssir is-Sibt 4 ta’ Ottubru 2025.

Il-programm ġie mniedi f’sala ġol-Kunvent tal-Klawsura fil-Belt Valletta, fejn għall-ewwel darba se jsir proġett fil-Knisja ta’ Sant Ursula bħala parti mill-programm ta’ Notte Bianca. 

 

Il-Ministru Owen Bonnici sostna li din is-sena Notte Bianca se tkun iktar b’saħħitha u inklużiva, b’kollaborazzjoni kollettiva ta’ madwar 350 artist lokali u internazzjonali. Dawn se joffru spettaklu uniku permezz ta’ aktar minn 70 proġett mifruxa mal-Belt Valletta kollha, bil-għan li joffru esperjenza kulturali li tgħaqqad lill-familji.


“Sena wara oħra, dan l-avveniment mhux biss sar parti integrali mill-kalendarju kulturali Malti, iżda wkoll appuntament mistenni mill-pubbliku, li jsaħħaħ ir-rabta bejn il-komunitajiet u jsaħħaħ l-identità kulturali tagħna,” temm jgħid il-Ministru Bonnici.

Iċ-Chairman ta’ Festivals Malta, Aaron Zahra spjega kif Notte Bianca hija waħda mill-akbar avvenimenti li torganizza Festivals Malta, fejn il-ħaddiema tal-Aġenzija jikkordinaw għadd ta’ proġetti li jsiru kollha f’lejla waħda. “Din is-sena għandna ’l fuq minn 70 proġett, li kollha jmissu ma’ ġeneri artistiċi differenti. Il-preparamenti għal dan l-avveniment massiv għaddejjin ġmielhom u l-ħaddiema kollha ta’ Festivals Malta qed jaħdmu qatigħ biex għal darb’oħra din l-edizzjoni tkun waħda ta’ suċċess,” qal is-Sur Zahra.

Il-Kap Eżekuttiv ta’ Festivals Malta Frans Agius qal li bħal kull sena, Festivals Malta qed tagħti prijorità lill-artist Malti, bil-maġġoranza tal-proġetti fil-programm ta’ din is-sena maħduma minn artisti lokali. “Notte Bianca toffri opportunità unika lill-artisti tagħna biex jesebixxu x-xogħol artistiku tagħhom f’waħda mill-akbar attivitajiet f’pajjiżna. Għandna diversi proġetti ta’ kwalità u nħeġġeġ lil kulħadd biex Notte Bianca ta’ din is-sena ma jitilfuhiex,” saħaq is-Sur Agius.

Id-Direttur Artistiku ta’ Notte Bianca Antoine Farrugia spjega li Notte Bianca se tkun qed toffri diversi proġetti adattati għal familja kollha, b’prestazzjonijiet apposta għat-tfal u oħrajn għal kbar biss, b’programm imżewwaq li jinkludu diversi aspetti artistiċi. “Bħal kull sena għandna r-rotot li wieħed jista’ jsegwi biex żgur isib dak li jolqtu l-aktar. Il-programm jinkludi teatru, mużika, żfin, arti viżiva u ħafna aktar, b’xogħol maħluq apposta għan-Notte Bianca,” qal is-Sur Farrugia.

Notte Bianca hija organizzata minn Festivals Malta bis-sapport tal-Ministeru għall-Kultura, l-Artijiet u l-Gvern Lokali u b’kollaborazzjoni ma’ Vibe FM, Coca Cola u European Heritage Days.

Notte Bianca returns on Saturday 4th October with a varied artistic programme that will include 350 local and international artists

 

The Minister for Culture, Lands and Local Government Owen Bonnici together with Festivals Malta, launched this year’s programme for Notte Bianca, which is set to take place on Saturday 4th October 2025. 


The programme was launched in a hall inside the Cloistered Convent in Valletta, where for the first time a project will be held in the church of St Ursula as part of the Notte Bianca programme.

 

Minister Bonnici explained that this year, Notte Bianca will be more inclusive with the collaborative effort of around 350 local and international artists. These artists will offer a unique experience with over 70 different projects spread around Valletta, with the aim of offering a cultural experience that will bring families together.

 

“Year after year, this event has not only become an integral part of the Maltese cultural calendar, but also an appointment awaited by the public, which strengthens the bond between communities and strengthens our cultural identity,” concluded Minister Bonnici.

 

Festivals Malta Chairman, Aaron Zahra explained how Notte Bianca is one of the biggest events organised by Festivals Malta, where the Agency’s staff coordinate a series of projects that take place all in one evening. “This year we have over 70 projects, all of which touch on different artistic genres. Preparations for this massive event are well underway and all Festivals Malta staff are working hard to make this edition a success once again.”

 

Festivals Malta CEO Frans Agius explained that like every year, Festivals Malta is prioritising Maltese artists, with the majority of projects in this year’s programme being created by local artists. “Notte Bianca offers a unique opportunity for our artists to showcase their artistic talent in one of the biggest events in our country. We have several quality projects that are not to be missed, and I encourage everyone not to miss this year’s Notte Bianca.”

 

Notte Bianca’s Artistic Director, Antoine Farrugia, explained that Notte Bianca will include various projects suitable for the whole family, with performances specifically for children and others for adults only, with a varied programme that includes various artistic genres. “Once again the programme is divided in routes that our audiences can follow so that they can find projects that appeal to them the most. The programme includes theatre, music, dance, visual arts and much more, with work created especially for Notte Bianca.”

 

Notte Bianca is organised by Festivals Malta with the support of the Ministry for Culture, Lands and Local Government and in collaboration with Vibe FM, Coca Cola and European Heritage Days.
