Basic Salary: €25,656

Qualifications and Experience Required:


Candidates must be in possession of a recognized Master’s qualification at MQF Level 7 (subject to a minimum of 60ECTS/ECVET credits, or equivalent, with regard to programmes commencing as from October 2008) in Marketing (1) year relevant work experience.


OR


Candidates must be in possession of a recognized bachelor’s qualification at MQF Level 6 (subject to a minimum of 180 ECTS/ECVET credits, or equivalent, with regard to programmes commencing as from October 2008) in Marketing, plus three (3) years relevant work experience.


OR


Minimum of 6 years’ experience in marketing and communications, including experience in market research and audio-visual productions. The equivalent of 2 years’ experience in dealing with procurement and preparation of contracts as per campaign requirements is required. Experience in media buying and dealing with third-party service providers for the production of collateral material, adverts and other marketing tools are a must. Candidates must also be in possession of a recognized qualification at MQF level 4 in Philosophy, Sociology and English.



Job description:

  1. Overseeing marketing department.

  2. Evaluating and developing the Agency’s marketing strategy.

  3. Build marketing programs to support specific marketing objectives across different channels and segments in support of the overall strategic marketing plan while developing and building same for each event/project.

  4. Develop business cases for marketing programs at the proposal stage and make recommendations on marketing tactics.

  5. Evaluate the impact of marketing programs in achieving their stated objectives.

  6. Lead acquisition in terms of adverts, TV and radio commercials as required for the different projects.

  7. Planning, directing, and coordinating the implementation of marketing efforts.

  8. Communicating the marketing plan.

  9. Researching demand for our festivals.

  10. Carry out competitor research.

  11. Execute business development.

  12. Developing promotions with festival managers and artistic directors.

  13. Managing marketing budgets.

  14. Developing, managing and implementing advertising campaigns.

  15. Building brand awareness and positioning.

  16. Supporting sales efforts.

  17. Partner and liaise with creative teams, other internal stakeholders, PCOs, agencies and partners.

  18. Coordinating marketing projects from start to finish, driving collaboration with the stakeholders and leveraging the right internal processes.

  19. Organizing press conferences.

  20. Overseeing social media marketing strategy and content marketing.

  21. Operate IT systems including the e-procurement portal (epps), used for management of calls for tenders and reporting of public procurement

  22. Assisting in the detailed monitoring and enforcement of Public Procurement procedures and ensuring that all procurement documents are in line with the applicable procedural and technical requirements, whilst ensuring confidentiality of sensitive procurement information at all times and ensuring compliance in such proceedings.

  23. Sit on the evaluation committees when necessary.

  24. Attending tender opening sessions when requested and other pertinent assignments in order to ensure that all the stipulated regulations are adhered to.

  25. Ability to work in a team, adapt rapidly and respond to change in a fast-changing environment.

  26. Coordinate and produce audio-visual productions for the different projects as required.

  27. Following any other ad hoc assignments in relation to festivals as may be directed with CEO Festivals Malta.
