Malta International Arts Festival (MIAF) is thrilled to announce the upcoming edition of Young Creatives in Motion!

This initiative invites dance school groups across Malta to participate in an exciting program designed to inspire and showcase young dancers. MIAF is dedicated to providing a professional platform for aspiring performers from diverse dance genres, aiming to discover and nurture emerging talent and creativity among young dancers and choreographers.
The program strives to:
Increase access to dance.
Raise artistic standards.
Enhance career progression opportunities for young creatives nationwide.
Support the teachers and leaders shaping Malta's dance community.
8 groups will be selected and scheduled on 2 separate events with 4 groups assigned to each event:
Selected groups will receive a 10-minute music recording to choreograph.
The music will be performed live by professional musicians during the event.
Event Information:
Eligible Age Group: 15–20 years.
Venue: Manoel Theatre, Valletta, Malta.
Stage Dimensions: 8m x 8m (length x width).
Commission Fee: €500 (excluding VAT).
Application Deadline: 13th February 2025, by noon.

Application Requirements: Please include the following information in your application:
Name of Dance School/Organisation.
Name of Dance Leader.
Name of Choreographer.
Number of dancers (include their names).
A video link showcasing recent choreographic work (maximum 3 minutes).
Name of signatory on contract
VAT Number (corresponding with invoice once issued)
